Midnight Hour has put together a tape best described as commercial party rock. "Fire in the Sky," their five-song demo, is a really good introduction from this band from Omaha, Nebraska. All of the songs, except for "This One's For The Children," are of the commercial metal vein. "Children" is a mellow tear-jerker that could easily be put on the radio and surprise a lot of people. Vocalist Ed Rutledge at times reminds me of Vince Neil (ex-Motley Crue). Guitarist Darren Mill, a graduate from G.I.T., really shows that he learned something while there. He's hot! Overall, a great effort from a very promising band.
