This will be a switch for MTX fans, as this isn't the Lookout-style punk you're used to hearing from this band. They've gone a new road - retro-rock. Fortunately for this review, I didn't listen to MTX too much before, so I was able to take this album for what it was and not in comparison to their old stuff. And I have to say, I love this album. All simple, creative, catchy melodies (yes, you can be simple and creative at the same time), along with clever, clever lyrics (the most creative lyrics we've reviewed so far). It took me about three listens to get used to it, but after that it was all over for me - MTX for entire car trips. This is a nice refreshing change from punk, emo, ska or whatever you listen to. I highly recommend it to most anyone.
