This is 100% Melodic Hyper Punk - west coast style. This is the only hyper punk album that we've gotten in a while that is worth listening to. The vocal melodies are pretty catchy and are sung with competence. Harmonies appear in a lot of parts. Also, there are enough guitar parts to keep me interested. Now to the specifics. This has probably the most creative beginning to an album that I've ever heard. It starts off with a Spanish soccer announcer commentating on the game and his team scores and he yells, "GOOOOAAAAALLLL." Then the guitars come in on the exact pitch of the announcer's voice. You have to hear at least that part of the album. The next thing I have to comment on is the duet with Cinder Block from Tilt. I'll make it short - Cinder Block sounds better than I've ever heard her sound, and the song is really catchy. The only drawback to the album is that most of the songs sound the same - sullen punk songs. But on this album that's not too bad, since most of the songs are really strong.
