Whoa nelly! What a band! Where have they been hiding? Come on record companies, wake up and sign this band now! I can't find one bad thing about this tape. I like all kinds of metal, but the Barren Cross/Sacred Warrior style is my favorite, and these guys go at it full force. I love it when a band puts scripture references throughout the songs, because it allows me to get into the Word and go beyond the song, also showing the band's maturity. Overdrive has 74 references in just four songs! The songs like "When The Saints Go Marching In (To Hell)" and "You Need A Friend" are nothing fancy, just straight-ahead metal that's so good it's scary! The production is excellent for a demo, and the packaging of the tape is real professional, with nice cover art, lyrics, and even a picture of the band. Overdrive is a band to watch for in the future, and A Grave Mistake is a tape to pick up now!
