Moving on to the second half of this week's article, I would like to introduce to you Painted Orange. It's a young band from Oklahoma who had the opportunity to play at Cornerstone '90, and currently has a small cult following here on our very own campus. Okay already, Painted Orange is pseudo-acid mix, dance jam, thumpin' bass, killer album with the "Jim Barnes house music disease." It is the first acceptable attempt by a Christian band to explore this type of music.

Painted Orange could be compared to Depeche Mode or the Cure in certain aspects, yet they have this incredible electric-synth sound that makes them unique. They are the best Christian band in the "dance" music scene, picking up where Mad At The World's first album left off.
