Has anyone ever heard of a band named "WOW"? That's cool, because I doubt anyone around here would have. "WOW" (Walk On Water) is one of the newest Christian bands out of Sweden. They play sort of a European pop/top 40, mainstream kinda music. They have been compared to Duran Duran but they definitely go a lot deeper both lyrically and musically.
At first I wasn't too impressed with the name but the musical content surprised me. WOW has some truly beautiful vocals that breathe life into their music.
The album is a variety of synth/pop sounds with some dance grooves flowing to acoustic flavored tracks, with a dreamy effect throughout. I was really impressed with the song "Prayer". "Prayer" opens up with soft, beautiful music and then the vocals break in with deep emotion. "Take my blues away/ Wash the sorrow from my soul/ Heal my heart and make me whole...". It's a tape that had to grow on me, but I love it and I definitely recommend it.

Heaven's Metal #25Reviewed by Doug Van PeltFans of vocally-rich Euro-pop will love this credible debut from a talented band. They truly compete with their secular counterparts in this non-metal alternative/pop genre.Similar sounding releases
