Park is from Springfield, Illinois. While they have dealt with various line-up changes, they have gotten past their setbacks and released "No Signal" on Lobster records.
The first thing that caught me was the vocals. They are pretty high (but not in a bad way). We are definitely talking about a tenor here. This guy knows how to sing and it takes the whole band up a level. The recording is sharp and fresh. Park plays melodic rock that shows they have some punk influence in there somewhere (don't we all). There is a good balance of the basic and technical sounds. The songs themselves are distinct and have a nice flow to them. My favorite was "Clue Me In" which has some sweet hooks and is simply, a good song. "Wreck Simple" and "Here On and Out" are also worth mentioning.
"No Signal" is a solid release, and while it might not rock the boat creatively, it's worth the listen.
