One of 1996's best Christmas albums is Phillips, Craig & Dean's Repeat The Sounding Joy. This collection of favorite carols and contemporary Christmas music features the tight-harmony vocals of the trio, accompanied by the Nashville String Machine and Nashville's Christ Church Choir.

This Christmas collection combines the traditional sounds of the season, such as "O Sanctissima" and "O Holy Night" with the more contemporary, such as "The Kid In Me" and the ever popular "Chipmunk Song" (although this humorous rendition sounds more like Huey, Duey, and Louie than Alvin, Simon, and Theodore). Other songs on the album include "Angels We Have Heard On High," "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee," "Be It Unto Me," "Bow Down," "Glorify The Lord," and "All The Earth Bows Down."

Any fan of PCD's brand of vocal harmonies and stylings will enjoy this beautiful holiday music. I would recommend it highly!
