This band was a little harder than I expected them to be on this EP. I thought their last album on Deep Elm was not quite as hardcore as this EP came across. I have to admit this is one of the first hardcore based albums that I thought was pretty good. I think it was because the screams were bearable and at times they did sing in their own scruffy kind of way. The music was creative, and there was not much, if any metal in their sound. I think this is a CD that both fans of hardcore, and harder rock or punk will enjoy. I was hoping for something a little closer in style to their last album, but it's still pretty good anyway. Nothing I would run out and buy, but definitely something I would recommend to my friends that dig hardcore. The one thing that I really didn't like about this CD was the slow song in the very middle of the EP. What was that all about? Talk about stealing the raw energy out of an album.

Some say that I'm wrong because I don't listen to this music enough to have this opinion. But I say, if it's not appealing to people who haven't heard this genre before, then maybe that proves my point of the fact that some of this hardcore music is only liked because its hardcore. Maybe…
