Raphi is a hip hop/rap artist that elevates himself slightly above the pack with a gravelly, staccato style that makes the listener pay attention, lest he miss something. At nineteen tracks and seventy-three minutes, Raphi may have been better served to write three or four more songs and do a double album or divide this into Cali Quake, Parts 1 and 2. The highlight here is "Wiggle," a Jamaican influenced track that quotes "No Woman, No Cry."
