Solseekers reemerges as the duo of Capture the Elusive and DJ DNA. Many times the DJ will take a back seat to the vocals, but Solseekers is absolutely a 50/50 outfit. In fact, although this EP shows off the sizable talents of both men, DJ DNA steps up to the turntables and really shows his brilliance. The song "Come And Go," with samples of Robert Goulet is genius. "Balance" is another favorite because of the sampling of DJ DNA. He takes a children's record that explains gravity by jumping, and puts it over Grand Funk Railroad. Even the opening introductions are fun featuring DJ DNA's turntables. On the mic is Capture the Elusive who flows with a funky rhythm and observant, discerning rhymes. The CD also features guest vocals by members of the super crew The Inklings, and production help from members of Sackcloth Fashion. Watch for a full LP from these guys, as well as solo projects. It'll be worth the effort.
