I guess that I don't follow the hype with this album. I have read other reviews (not necessarily on this site) in which the group was praised for its musical complexity, originality, and lyrics and I agree with all of these. However, the sound doesn't do it for me. "Four Hours Light" deviates from some of their older material in that it is more carefully calculated and constructed. It is also a slower pace than some of their older material. The album had a lot of good things going for it except I just could not get into it. I even went back and took a few more listens before writing this and it just didn't make me believe that the appeal was as great as the intelligence and the talent that went into it. Therefore, if you are looking for cheap thrills, this album is not for you. But, if you like well thought out music with Swedish lead singers, then you very well may like this CD.
