Brazil imports to us some very fine melodic metal from Stauros, who have shown much improvement since their last outing. It might take a few listens or track skipping to appreciate these guys. They play real guitar solos (very well, I might add) and sport a good vocalist by the name of Carlos Cesar Oliveira, and modernize it with dripping BGV's not too unlike Alice In Chains (don't think grunge, though). This band can easily stand on their own in the metal genre.
