The Echoing Green has been at it, well . . . forever. Still, their sound is fresh and always professional. These are people that are arguably responsible for nurturing the Christian electronic scene when it was in its infancy, and they haven't lost any of their parenting skills. Their new album, Music From the Ocean Picture is done in the classic, recognizable Echoing Green style, but they do occasionally branch out from their almost rigid standard of song writing with songs like "Trip" and "Noise." These tracks show an edgier side of the Green, and it suits them well. However, they have kept most of their Euro-techno style for the majority of the songs, and they are sure to please fans and new listeners.
