Working class ethics and punk rock usually always make a winning combination. Most of the time you can tell when a band has the working class type of mind set. There is an air of confidence behind them. They can carry their own. This is the case with Portland, Oregon's, The Escaped. With just being signed in April by NYC's Blackout records, they have put out their first album called Rose City Hard Core. Their sound would be that of old school punk but with some hardcore flair. A mix of Total Chaos, Kill Your Idols, and The Bruisers.
This young and hard working band has a sound that will make all the street punk and all the hardcore lovers run to their local record stores to pick this album up. 10 street wise punk rock anthems for just about everyone.
