I really love full discographies. I own quite a few. I own Cap'n Jazz, Absolution, You and I, and The Swing Kids. Now I have The National Acrobat. It is hard to describe this now deceased band. The only word to use is WILD. They combine so many things with their style. They have the DC 80's emo (Rites of Spring, Embrace) going on but at the same time the more chaotic San Diego (Swing Kids) sound going on but then their hardcore roots come shining through. I thoroughly enjoyed this album.
The National Acrobat was born in 1998 and then quickly faded into oblivion but they certainly left their mark by releasing three CD EP's and a 7", as well as being featured on a few compilations. The Complete Recordings contain all those releases as well as some unreleased live tracks and a Sex Pistols cover song. I would say it is a pretty meaty discography. The members of TNA went on to join other bands like Black Cross, Breather Resist, Christiansen, and Lords. This is a treat for those who were fans but also a treat for those lovers of very original and talented music.
