If, back in the early days, the members of Skinny Puppy had gotten together with the folks from Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus, this is what their collaboration might have sounded like. Most of the music on this CD is instrumental, although smatterings of Puppy-esque samples can be found. The integration of electro sounds and mellower ambient material is done perfectly. The end product comes out lighter than many readers of this column might appreciate, but there is enough of interest here to hold anyone's attention. A couple exceptions to the above description come towards the end of the CD. "Night" has a full set of vocals, chanted in much the same way as Argyle Park's "A Burden's Folly". The following track, "Midnight Improvisation", also reminds me of Argyle with rave-like percussion mixed with ethereal synths. A top quality indie project.
