Pummeling drums, raging guitars and vocals reminiscent of Strongarm and Bury Your Dead are all standard fare for Eulogy Records band Until The End. With the addition of former Walls of Jericho drummer XwesX Keely, the band sounds even tighter than before.
"Let The World Burn" is a mix between a studio album and a live one with three tracks recorded from the band's stop in Switzerland during their tour early last year. The live version of "Driving This Car Headfirst Into A Wall" is fast paced and mosh inducing with its slow and brooding breakdowns while "Death Disguised As Salvation" and "Nothing Between Us" shred and rip with all the stamina and power of Unearth or Frodus.
The studio portion of the record is just as powerful with breakdowns that chug like a train engine alongside stop/start breaks in the drumming. Vocalist Mean Pete shouts and growls with a desperation that's manic and forceful and all too useful when conveying the band's message. Converge couldn't hold a candle to these guys.
