It's not very often that you spend 6 or 7 bucks on a CD that has 18 tracks of music and still feel you got ripped off. Actually I can't say that it's EVER happened to me...but there's a first time for everything right?
So it happens with this CD. Not a bad idea actually. Rugged went around and grabbed songs from 18 different local bands, put 'em on one CD, offered it cheap and asked you to vote for your favorite, who would get to be signed by the label. (Voting is over now however...I didn't like this CD so I was very SLOW in reviewing it.)
Well in the 18 tracks on this CD I couldn't find one band that I felt I wanted to hear a full length CD of so I personally never voted. I'm probably being overly harsh because 98% of this CD is punk, ska, or indie rock. You know my feelings there! (the winner BTW is more of a Hootie and the Blowfish rip-off band than Third Day!!!!!)
Anyway stay clear of this one.
