Ok I was very pessimistic about the Extreme Days soundtrack not knowing who exactly was featured, but I looked at the roster and thought it might be good. The roster includes a lot of pop (VERY LAME!), but there are a few bright spots on the disk. The good bands are Pax 217, East West, .rod laver, and P.O.D. I did like some of the other music like John Reuben who happens to be one of the most popular hip-hop artists right now.

The tracks I liked the most were "Alex" by .rod laver, "Selah" by P.O.D. which is also featured on their album Brown. I also liked East West's "Song X". For those who do not know who East West is they are a DJ driven rap-core band that sounds a lot like Korn. I really liked the good chunk of this disc. The other part was dumb. I don't like The Newsboys what so ever and I don't like solo artist Toby Mac and Michael Tait (DC Talk, I can't believe I said the D word)

I was actually surprised to see Forefront make this happen. With all the other labels they needed to get to comply with. They got Atlantic, Tooth and Nail (Fanmail does a lame song), Flood Gate Records (East West), and Screaming Giant (.rod laver).

I am really a die hard P.O.D. fan so I liked "Selah" more than the other tracks. I love the band. I own every thing they have ever done except the live set. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes rap-core, but you would have to put up with all that pop junk. For a soundtrack this is pretty good, but because it lacks a lot of talent I will give it a 5. What I liked was good but what I did not like was the part that will probably throw you off. Good thing I did not pay for this, my younger brother won it on a radio contest so that's a score for me, but if you can handle the poop I mean pop this is a good disk.

    5/10
