The fourth in the Hot Metal series put out by Intense Records is, obviously by the subtitle, a video comp. Although a good concept for the series, there's about only three videos of interest here for the heavy headbanger: Deliverance's "Weapons Of Our Warfare" (a video that's been shown on MTV's Headbangers Ball and mentioned by Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich as one of his favorite metal videos), Tourniquet's "Ark Of Suffering" (the one that was banned from MTV for being too intense), and Vengeance Rising's "Before The Time" (don't know if that one was shown on MTV, but the concept's cool- the band grinding away in a church). Otherwise, just for the sake of completing the list, the rest fall into the "commercial" side of metal: Ken Tamplin's "Livin For My Lord", Ransom's "Lasting Love", Angelica's "Cover Me" and a "classic clip" from Shout- "Give Me An Answer" (I dare you not to laugh during that one). Included also are videotaped interviews with members of each band, a testimonial from one girl, and an ending message from Pastor Bob himself.
