Our friends at Bettie Rocket have done a sequel to last year's Valentine's Day disc -- Nothing Says I Love You Like Punk Rock. 21 tracks show off the BR roster (with several previously unreleased tracks), as well as a few special guests, like Dogwood ("All Hands On Deck" from the Through Thick And Thin album), Mama Grace, Shop 11 Phoenix, 2540, Concussion, Openhanded, Special Reason, Split Cast, Behind The Seen, Subdue, Pugface, and (Rescue's) Skratchline. While some may wonder about the longevity of a label that seems founded on the passing fancy of 'pop-punk', others will simply hit "play" and enjoy a nice listen. Many of the aforementioned bands are indie and do a good job of competing with the others found on this disc.
