Pop-punk / pop-rock epitomizes the positive aspects of this sampler. After a spin you will want to find out more about several of the bands. The strange part about this sampler is that after hearing so many quality punk and rock songs you would think that the hardcore songs would be good as well, but they just aren't quite there. There are only two hardcore bands on the sampler, but they somehow fall short of the standard that the rest of the bands set. The majority of the bands on the sampler should get some pretty good coverage if they get their stuff out there. This is a cool sampler that is easy to get into, because they are all essentially indie, and they are from Canada, so you get a different spin on styles that you might already like. Some of the notable bands on the sampler are: Veronica, The Rock Band, Every New Day, Jenny Moore, and Fairview.
