This cd has parts I don't like and parts that I do. The vocals are pretty heavy but not to my taste. The music itself has its high and low points. As far as the lyrics go, they are solid and biblical but there's something about the cd that stops me from really getting into it. One of my friends listened to it and liked it. He is more into Victory Records stuff. Personally, I haven't heard a cd off of Victory that I like. The cd isn't a full length so if you have a few extra bucks burning a hole in your pocket I don't guess that Stand Alone is a bad buy but if I lost my copy I wouldn't cry about it. If you don't buy it though, it's still worth taking a listen to at some time or another. It's good but I don't think Burrito should have quit Morphine records to devote his time to 44Evergiven.
