Anah Aevia (pronounced Awnuh-Avaya) have layered a completely heterogeneous atmosphere: dissimilar elements essentially unified in respect to the parts of which it is made up. Their latest release, Realize You're Dead, presents rich, landscaping ornamentals. Exceedingly drawn out build ups peaked with one of the most intense screams I've heard. The entire album is variegated enough to keep the listener wondering and listening. Coupled with lyrical anthems of praise, this metal/hardcore incross weave blistering eulogies that seem to always focus on spiritual relevancy. Directly paralleling the meaning of their name: to cry out in praise. Destined for bigger and better, I'm excited to see what's to come.
