What you have here is band kids who know how to play their instruments very well and decided to start a ska band. Kind of bored me to tell you the truth. I think those die hard ska folks will like this one though. The singer has a pretty good voice, that's if you don't focus on the somewhat cheesy lyrics. I guess at times they kind of have an Insyderz meets the W's sound, but at others they just have a regular old ska sound. The production is pretty good for an independent release. Very Christian based lyrics, yet nothing too deep. They do experiment with other styles of music, island sounding tunes, hardcore, rock ballad, electro pop, swing, rap, jazz, but it would generally fall into the horn driven ska category. The instruments that appear on this CD include: 2 guitars, bass, voice, drums, various percussion instruments, bari sax, tenor sax, alto sax, trombone, trumpet, flute. Like I said they know how to play their instruments, they just don't play them in the way that appeals to me I suppose.
