Leave No Ashes is the sophomoric album from the tour-heavy group, Burning Brides. They have been on the road quite a bit with bands such as A Perfect Circle and Queens of the Stone Age. These guys and a girl are unashamed of their classic rock roots. They do more than just rehash classic sounds; they update it a bit, adding in metal influences. They seem to blend that stoner rock sound, metal, and grunge into something that pleases the kids everywhere. Oh, and to ease your mind, they do include some rock ballads.
I know people like music like the Burning Brides, but I think in order to do so you have to have grown up listening to exclusively classic rock without the taint from music of other genres. Take this review with a grain of salt, because it comes from someone who doesn't have the slightest clue why anyone would ever listen to Sammy Hagar. If you are a fan of the current rock movement or classic rock in general, you will love Leave No Ashes.
