Hardcore/Metal. Uh-oh. If you don't like this genre, then read no further. This genre is really tricky because once you make the vocals unintelligible you're only left with musicianship and songwriting. So if you're not overly great at the latter - you're gonna suck. Fortunately their music is fairly creative and was never too simplistic. I kept thinking, "If Pantera went Hardcore, they might sound similar to this." Although this is not quite as good as the new Zao record, this album definitely holds its own. Good guitar work, solid drums and it never drags (I hate when Hardcore bands play that really slow beat). So if you like Hardcore/Metal I would definitely check this one out. If you don't, then you might want to run far away.
