If you saw the Guns 'N Roses "reunion" at the MTV Video Music Awards recently, you've heard much of the new Echo Hollow album (sort of). Dropping the King Diamond vocals and metal attack for the most part, EH has opted to explore their hard rock inspirations. The result (Superficial Intelligence) is satisfying and grows on you, but shocking is the first impression, to be sure.
