This CD is really cool. The beginning is so rad - it starts out with Five Iron Frenzy's introduction and the first song they did at Cornerstone 1999. If you were not there, which I wasn't, they came out and opened up with the intro to the Stryper tune "To Hell With the Devil." All I can say is that Reese should have been in an 80s hair band. I didn't know a singer for a ska-punk band's voice could get that high. The band really picked a good variety of songs too. Three of the songs on this CD are not even out yet on any of their other CDs, and the rest of the songs are all their good ones. Another thing that I really liked about this CD is that it's a good representation of their live sound. Five Iron isn't known as the tightest live band, and it shows a little bit on this live CD, but in my opinion that's a good thing. I hate when bands record a live CD, then go into the studio and totally change things around. They also have a lot of clips from their onstage antics, something that always goes along with a good Five Iron Frenzy concert. This CD reminded me why I really like this band. They are fun, they are good, and even though they are a ska-punk band they are still kind of doing their own thing. If you're not a fan of Five Iron Frenzy, or think that because they are "ska" that you won't like them, then I would recommend checking out this CD. It's a really good example of why so many kids are into them.
