Fred and the Savages is a punk band from Pennsylvania. This release has been out for some time and has Johnny Huntington among its players.

Uncompromisingly tough music with an edge you could shave with. That's the best way to describe this quintet. Playing straight up in your face rock, these guys are just what you need when you're looking to play something really loud. To best describe the sound, some bands that you might be found in the same neighborhood would be the L.E.S. Stitches and Kid Dynamite. This release has six songs and the recording is strong. Produced by Cliffy Huntington, the songs are tight with solid guitars and supportive leads. It will be interesting to see the future of these guys, they definitely have what it takes to stay around and prove themselves with every chord.
