Wow what an improvement. Godfear's Pound for Pound is a great album. If this album only came out earlier I wouldn't have had to knock the other one (sorry guys). This disk is that of true Pantera with a different style of vocalist. The groove is there, the guitar solos are there. The drums are groovy double bass and they make the rhythm more syncopated. The message again was really good. There are a lot of tracks on this disk that are music only and a lot of the tracks flow into the next track. This is the Godfear we all want to hear. Great music, great lyrics and tons of progressive groove to keep you in your seat.
My favorite would have to be track one (My swollen eye). It grooved, screamed, soloed, and pounded into my ears. I guarantee you Pantera fans will be impressed with this album. This group gets the most improved band title and jumped from a 2 on The Empty to an 8.5 with Pound for Pound I think Godfear was bluffing with The Empty because Pound for Pound is a royal flush!
8.5/10

The vocals seem somewhat like Godfear is trying to imitate Pantera. I think the vocals…Similar sounding releases
