"The Trouble with Tribbles," one of the most popular Star Trek episodes of all time, featured a little fluffy ball of joy called a tribble. They made everyone happy but Captain Kirk, with their cute, fluttering purr and their soft to the touch fuzziness. Well, I have found out where those fuzz balls went; to the music of "Joy Electric Land." I feel like Captain Kirk, however; everyone is liking it but me. Their synthesized purr is all over the new record called Robot Rock, and it's not fun anymore. The first song on the record is called "Sugar Rush," but the whole thing is electronic bubble gum. If you like video games for the music, and didn't get enough synthesizer in the eighties, then this record might be for you.
