P.O.D. Live at TOMFest. Now yes I did KILL the Rescue Records Live at TOMFest CD in the last issue. It still stands, but if you remember the high points of the CD were the P.O.D. tracks.

This CD was recorded from the same shows as the Rescue Records CD, but instead of only a couple of tracks we get a full 10 live songs.

What power! The one real draw back to this CD is that if you have never seen P.O.D. Live it will really make you feel like you have missed something special.

The production of this CD is not as good as a studio release, but then who expected it to be? Comparing it to the Rescue Records CD, it is far superior than most of the tracks. The music is raw, loud and clear.

P.O.D. really took the time throughout this set to give praise to the Lord. Before, during and after the songs Selah, and Preach, they really give it up to God. Not to mention during other songs as well, but these songs are very moving.

The full track listing of this CD includes:

    One Day
    Draw The Line
    Selah
    Know Me
    Punk-Reggae Jam
    Breathe Babylon
    Preach
    Full Color
    Murder

I've always felt that live recordings are for people who are TRUE fans of that particular band. I feel this for several reasons. First, usually you don't get any new songs. Second you do usually have to settle for raw un-produced music. This is true of this album as well, but if you are a big P.O.D. fan trust me this is something you will want to have in your collection.

    7/10

    Other coverage for this album

HM Magazine #74Reviewed by Doug Van PeltWe've been telling you how great this band is, ever since we put them on our first Hard Music Compilation in 1994. Now they're about to become possibly Christian hard music's most prominent act. The only negative thing that could be said about the band up to now was that their studio albums did not capture their essence as did their live shows. Now we have a live set captured for all time that…
