Man, these guys write deep lyrics! Let me back up. Here is a very young band from Carl Junction, Missouri. I mean young! Too young to put out something this good! "The Joy of Throwing Things" is something I would expect out of someone in their mid-20's -- not 16 and 17 year olds! The music is death/thrash metal and, if the production was better (I hope the finished copy is), there would be nothing holding this band back. These are eight songs of pure sweat and energy. Lyrically, these guys put many older bands to shame. These guys are serious in every way. What more can I say? This is a must-have for metal fans.
