Ok, start with some thick and crazy guitars, a frenzied bass player, and a tight drummer along with a true hardcore vocalist, you get Seventh Star. Seventh Star is an Ocala Florida based hardcore band who brings an intense sound. The band is a true hardcore band. They never leave the hardcore sound and they keep it hard non stop. Lifeblood, which is the title of the album, is an assortment of 6 tracks no longer than 20 minutes. But what you will get is a non stop hardcore frenzy that you will love.
I had a chance to see this band live in Ocala which is south of Gainesville where I live. This band put on a show and were off the hook, the only bad part was the security guards on stage, they shot people with BB guns and being up front I got popped 3 times. It hurt like a SOB, nevertheless I enjoyed their show. My favorite track on the disk is "Face Fallen". Great lyrics and great music mesh it into a hit. The only flaw I would give this disk is its repetitiveness. All the songs are straight up hardcore and there is only so much you can do. But in the end I gave it an 8.5 because Lifeblood is a great disk. I don't know what to say about getting it because this is an Ocala band and not too big, but I would check out the link on Dead's linkage index and try to get it through mail because it is definitely worth the money!!!
8.5/10

With toils and torments galore it's been a long time coming but at long last we have in our hot little hands a CD, and after all the hub-bub it's released by Warfare Records, just so you know. SADLY it's amazingly short. Now I know the boys are…Similar sounding releases
