Now this is my stuff right here. White trash punk hardcore. Fast, aggressive, mad and aren't going to take it anymore. I am a huge fan of bands like Slapshot, Blood for Blood, and Agnostic Front, all of which are on I Scream Records, and now there is Slumlords. They are from Baltimore and they have a very respectable and extensive past of being involved in other bands such as Breakdown, Day Of Mourning, Comin' Correct, Wake Up Cold, and Next Step Up. It is always nice to just hear some straight up aggression that isn't hiding behind metal or washed down into pop.
I love this style. I love going to see bands like this. It's real. It's fast. It's fun. It's still alive. There is nothing like grabbing some guys you don't know in the pit and singing along with them. It's all about crew and the music and being real. Slumlords bring it back and they take it to the streets. Suburban hardcore should die and it should come back to the streets. I love this album and it has made a great spot in my record collection. Mosh it up boys and girls. Sing along and stage dive on your friends. Take a hint from some of these bands and from Slumlords and let's do it all over again.
