Well I really like this CD, straight off the bat I felt I needed to say that. After all the biggest downfall is that it's just a 3 song CD EP and lasts but twelve minutes. If that's going to be the biggest problem I better come out and say I like it. The music is really good, varying from death to thrash to nice melodic metal pieces to some acoustic parts that are very tastefully intertwined into the songs.

The vocal approach used is a death growl and being as this is another of those import CDs the guy's accent comes through, I love it but feel I should mention it as I've heard a lot of people dislike the accented death growl. The production of this CD is better than I anticipated as well, with all the instruments sounding clean and true.

Three songs do leave you wanting more, and while this CD EP is not as stunning as the Vaakevandring EP, nor is it as gripping as the handful of Immortal Souls tracks we've been given, it does fit its own niche and has its own indisputably addictive qualities as those releases. I call this more of an experimental death metal for lack of better genre, and if you find yourself wanting something a bit tougher but not thoroughly as brutal, this is a great stop in the CD player. My copy is sure to get a lot of rotation.

HM Magazine #83Reviewed by Doug Van PeltHere's some joyous noise from Finland -- beautiful guitar picking, solid, precise drumming, quick chording between bass and guitars, and a low-end growl to peel the formica off your kitchen table! I think the band classified their music as "imagine Dream Theater with Steve Rowe handling lead vocals." That's not too far off the mark. The busy drumming accents any breaks between the tight guitar…Art for the Ears 2000Reviewed by Marco PovervestTinnitus is a Finnish four-piece that delivered this CD with three death metal songs. The songs have a variety of sounds and influences including acoustic parts and neatly played guitar solos. Both the guitarist and the drummer are working hard to get the songs rolling. There's talent in the band which perhaps is displayed best in Crucified. The sound quality could be a little better, though it's…Dead Zine 1999Reviewed by Orc-CleaverThe definition of tinnitus is "any ringing or buzzing in the ear not resulting from an external stimulus." Not sure why they call themselves this, maybe they like to crank up the volume in their practice pad? Anyway this band has it together musically; they sound very professional. There are only three songs on the disc which is unfortunate because it only ends up lasting twelve minutes. I guess…
