Unfisted is from Florida and has played at Warped Tour. They have released their second album, "Define Strength" on Burning Records.
Unfisted uses this release in an attempt to search for the new hard rock sound (Incubus, Creed etc), only they use more screaming. "Define Strength" is plagued with problems. The vocalist fights a losing battle against singing flat and the tempo of the songs is very inconsistent. Listening through the album, mistake after mistake jumps out. The recording leaves a lot to be desired with flat sounding guitars in some songs and just plain awful sounding guitars on the breakdowns (in such songs as "Who I was Meant To"). The drum has a very hollow sound to it and the high hat sounds more like rattle than a cymbal. "Define Strength" is a poorly written, poorly recorded, and poor sounding album.
