First they brought us a full length Soul Embraced album, now on the heels of the Soterios album comes the long awaited and very anticipated Living Sacrifice tribute album and soon we will have our hands on the next Kekal CD as well. With this kind of action how can we not love and support a label like Clenched Fist Records?

In addition to amazing artwork and a nice little paragraph written by former LS vocalist DJ this CD delivers 14 LS songs you've never heard before. Sure these are all remakes of songs you have on CD already, but hardly any of these songs sound even remotely like their original versions.

The line up includes; Mindrage, Crutch, Mordecai, Soul Embraced, Gnashing of Teeth, Kekal, Crimson Thorn, Soterios, Clemency, Mistral, Dwell Beneath, 26 Days till Freedom, Dirge, and Living Sacrifice.

Without going overboard on trying to describe each track (which is difficult as they vary greatly) I'll just let you know a few of my stand out tracks. Mistral's version of 'Threatened' is simply the best remake on this CD while 'Desolate' is a transplanted song from the Metamorphosis CD and is one of their best songs of all time, Mordecai bring a distinctive Black Metal sound to LS that is superb and Crutch's 'Breathing Murder' will make you feel as though it's been exhaled upon you as well.

LS fan of old or new you will N-O-T be disappointed in this CD. There is a serious hole in your CD collection if this album does not reside in there. Get it now.

HM Magazine #91Reviewed by Treble BandopplerIt took Clenchedfist a while to get this Living Sacrifice tribute disc out, due to the nature of such things (basically, getting band people types to meet deadlines and such), but fourteen tracks of blistering homage to the mighty LS make it worth the wait. It also makes for a great introduction to some good 'extreme' bands that you may not be familiar with yet. Mindrage puts a tuff guy spin on…Dead Zine 2001Reviewed by GrindboyWhen is a tribute not a tribute? How about when the tribute upstages the originals? Of course I've been a Living Sacrifice listener since the beginning, but this is right up there with Inhabit, my favorite of their albums (partly because half of Inhabit shows up on here, I guess). First the pleasant surprises. Wow, I agree with D, Mistral's "Threatened" is amazing, FAR surpassing the original…
