Fasedown kick off this hardcore punk (& some emo) compilation (saved from sampler status by the inclusion of non-Rescue related bands) proper, pummeling down a (figurative) door with "Abolished." Headnoise is next with "Heads Like Humans," doing what they do with sass and frass. Onceblind do a ZAO intro to "Loyalty," and then transition into a pounding cymbal-fest. 238 mellow things out for a bit, and then Figure Four resume the beating with "Loyalty." From there we are slapped around by bands like Overcome, Sagoh, xDISCIPLEx AD, Redeem, P.O.D., etc. Good collection of the hard underground.

The problem here is most of the songs are already released on the bands' current albums. Granted you…
