Veronica offers us a solid pop album. Nothing ground breaking here, but still enough catchy choruses and punk rock energy to keep your attention. Probably the biggest down fall with this album is that it really isn't anything new. The band takes elements of various bands that are already established in the indie rock/pop rock scenes and combines them. Probably the biggest comparisons would be drawn to the Anniversary, Get Up Kids and Reggie and the Full Effect. Another thing that kind of hinders the overall feel of the release are the vocals. Can't exactly put my finger on it, but they aren't exactly I guess you could say crisp or not always in key.
But like I mentioned earlier this is a solid release and if you're looking for something that is very pop based, has a bit of punk energy to it with a good amount of keyboards then give this one a try.
