Christiansen challenges the conventional song structure and standard music composition with a post-hardcore approach. Making up their own rules along the lines of Braid and others, there are chaotic tempo changes and dualistic guitar parts pulling apart from each other in divergent directions and coming together in fruition to fulfill some surprising melodies. When you first listen, you might not get what's happening, but if you ride it out you're soon pleased at what you're hearing. You could argue for a sound somewhere between Braid and Black Flag with Refused influence.
