The album starts off with "Sunshine" and they couldn't have picked a better lead off song. With great guitar work and great vocals, the whole CD rocks with adrenaline. Like a Philadelphia street fight, it's one great hit after another. The music has a good blend of indie and punk, with a shot of energy in the music that most bands miss these days. I love the vocal style of Samiam, very distinctive and it lends itself perfectly to the music. Some of my favorite songs were "Wisconsin," "Paraffin," and "Dull" (which is anything but). "Mud Hill" is also a great song, the video for which has appeared on Blue Torch TV (the show focuses on extreme sports and occasionally feature music videos). This CD is Samiam at their best. If you're a fan you're going to want it, and if you've never heard Samiam, you should definitely get in the game and pick it up.
