This is something we haven't seen from the Huntingtons until now. A split full length with another great pop punk band. I guess it took someone very special. Huntingtons really seem to enjoy Darlington. These guys have done a few tours together and pretty much fit into the same vein of the genre. Huntingtons give us a few more "Get Lost/Plastic Surgery" sounding songs, some more bad boy rock, plus an old original Christmas song. I love the concept of covering each other's songs, it really ties the split together. The Huntingtons covered "Judy Jetson", and Darlington covered "Jackie Is An Atheist". One down side of this record is the drastic quality difference in the recordings. I would have liked Darlington's songs to be up to par with what Huntingtons contributed. Huntingtons come across more professional than Darlington on this record. Darlington made up for it with their great writing. I really like their lyrics, they're perfect for the music. I love that they sing about The Donna's, I can relate to their crush on Donna A. Darlington got a little more creative with their Huntingtons cover, you can really tell that they were having fun when they recorded that song. Though this record doesn't have anything terribly new, or original from these bands. But putting them together for a split was a great idea.
