Pacifico is from Atlanta, GA and have been around since 1999. Still Holding on was released on Vapid Records.
When the first song of this 5 song EP started something sounded strangely familiar. It took me awhile to place it, but Pacifico's "Multiply" sounds a lot like Plankeye's "Someday." The following songs have a feel of Hokus Pick and older Pray for Rain with bits and pieces of Plankeye interwoven throughout the songs. Sort of pop alternative with guitars that are as likely to be distorted as not. It's definitely an interesting blend, an area that not a lot of bands are looking into, which is cool. But on its own, Pacifico doesn't write songs that deliver the "Umph."
