Mix The Kinks, Led Zeppelin's 78-80 era, U2, a host of pre-Rock 'n' Roll blues men, and a couple hundred sweaty people together and you'll get a great rockin' album like the live presentation of The 77's at The Warehouse in 1988. Anyone who really appreciates da blooz will dig these tunes. I mean, when you take a tune like "Mercy, Mercy", throw a jam in the middle of it, and stretch it out to 11 minutes, and then follow it up with two consecutive 12-minute tunes, you either have some great rock 'n' roll or some over-indulgent mess. Well, real rock 'n' roll is a little of both, I guess, and you get it all here.
