These guys are the Baltimore connection for emo wonder label, Deep Elm. They would have to be classified emo. But they have a lot of different sounds in the music such as a pinch of screaming here and there to add a little flavor. I got to see them play 20 Minute Fest in Mechanicsburg PA last year, so I sort of knew what to expect before I heard this CD. The double vocal style in most songs add some really good harmonies. Add to that some cello, good guitar leads and a splattering of keyboards (at one point I thought I heard vibes). The songs don't linger over one note for ten minutes like some emo bands, but tally-ho with quick tempo changes and an afterburner of drive. "London Bridge" is a really tight song as is "With Bells On." Put this baby on in the car and during your homework, it's a good listen and you won't regret it.

Even the vocals were "simple." They had a real good sound going on, something that put them into that "indie rock" type category. I'm thinking,…
