I am so glad I did not decide to not order this cd based upon Society's Finest previous efforts. If you have their split with My Spacecoaster or the Blessed Be This Killing compilation, you have heard Society's Finest before. However, if you had played their old stuff for me and then played this cd, I would not have believed they were the same band. I would have to say that this cd has shown me the most progression in a band I have ever heard, especially in only two recordings. This cd is much better than anything by Society's Finest previously released. You really have to get this cd to believe it. To me this cd sounds like a younger version of Embodyment with slight Coalesce and Arkangel influences and slow, doomy parts. The vocals are great, the drums are tight and the guitars are performed awesome; what more could you ask for? Hardcore fans, this cd is for you, don't miss out on it.

With a sound similar to Zao's Where Blood... album, Society's Finest's hybrid of metal/hardcore brings in the screamed, shouted vocals, the hardcore…Similar sounding releases
