This is where the machine that is Bride started it all off. 1986, Pure Metal released upon us the album known as Show No Mercy, and indeed the band intended to do just that. This is the perfect example of what glam metal COULD be. This is no Warrant rip-offs here with over the top poppy antics, and pointless lyrics. Yet the lyrics aren't deep enough that you can't really get into the song for the song's sake. Rather Bride was setting out to create metal that means something, that you can just jam to!
This being another re-release CD from Millennium 8, it ends up being a 17 track CD, which includes the entire Show No Mercy album of old with the addition of 7 extra tracks that come from the 1983 demo Lost in His Love and a demo version of one of the best songs on Show No Mercy called "No Matter The Price."
This CD is jam packed with high caliber musicianship that includes guitar leads like crazy, killer drumming, and vocals so high you can feel them! How on earth he got those vocals so high is beyond me. Check this CD out for a hair teased, spandex wearing good time!

The screams are loud, the drums and bass rock, plus the guitar work is very good. This is competent metal. So far, Pure Metal hasn't made any mistakes. This album fills a needed space in Christian music. The only secular counterpart I can compare this album to is Black Sabbath with Ronnie Dio. Musically,…Similar sounding releases
